We’re in OZ, losing our tan’s fast and almost broke! Actually that’s not true….. Riaan is BROKE…… and
it seems with all the excitement and fun we’ve been having, I’ve forgotten a couple of …………… well rather important… serious and super funny fact’s!

You see it goes a little something like this……A boy named Attie and ….. Well another boy named Nikolai, were having fun one warm and clear Bali night! Things were going just peachy down on Dreamland beach…a few Bintangs down, when all of a sudden they decided things might be better down in Kuta. One problem though, they needed a bike….
So after deciding to borrow Riaans bike (One off road scrambler), who might I add was sleeping at the time and knew nothing about the MISSION! Now this is where things started going horribly …WRONG!
Arriving in Kuta laaaaaaaaate and realizing there’s no where to go and no where to sleep…… the next best thing was to park the bike and have a quick snooze along side. Seems like a good idea doesn’t it, NO!
After being woken by a taxi driver and jumping in saying something along the lines of take me home (Dreamland), you can now imagine the expressions on there faces the next morning when Riaan wakes them up asking “Where’s my bike!” .Now you would think that’s where the story ends… but you’d be wrong. After catching a taxi back to Kuta to pick the bike up not only do they discover that Attie is missing one million cash (Indo money of course) , but drum roll please………………. The bikes been STOLEN!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! With no memory of the night before and no leg to stand on…it was time to cough up and that cough happened to cost a cool 10 MILLION…………Ouch.

Okay, okay…that was then this is now!
After arriving in OZ, we headed straight to the nearest and cheapest backpacker’s we could find. This was a mistake. After only being in OZ for maybe 30 minutes, we soon realized that this cheap and oh so central backpacker’s also happened to be the red light district… and we’re talking Green point, Sea point times 10. After spending two exhausting days checking out the city and all it’s tourist hot spots, we decided to move on with our new pride and joy Sky. Incase you were wondering who Sky is…well she’s the newest edition to our crew and she’s big, blue and o so comfy! ( check the photo’s, she’s a beauty)
So I guess you’re wondering where we’re headed. Well you probably not gonna believe this, but here it is. We staying at some backpacker’s and as you walk out the front door you hook a right and take about a 5 minute walk, stop on the cliff …… and you’ll be looking right at the one and only ……SHARK ISLAND!
And better yet, we happen to be here at the same time as the famous Shark Island challenge. So not only is every pro in town, but we also got to see the No Friends premiere for a second time, meet Jeff Hubbard and hook up with Eddie and Andre again! How sick is that!

I don’t know if any of you remember good old V-Jay from South Africa ( Durban). You can spot him on a few vidz and in a few mag’s here and there. A shit hot bodyboarder. Anyway we’re all staying at the same place and have had some good times with no money, ha ha ha. The other day however, he took us to a spot called Suck Rock……me being a lazy bastard never bothered going in…..big mistake ( although I did get some sick footage). Riaan, Attie and V-Jay did go in and scored big time! 3-4 foot fat, round and solid pits… busting out and loving every minute of it! Check the pic’s out , cause seeing really is believing!
