With a boat trip looming only a week away, the swell peeking it seemed nothing could go wrong……but that’s where we were wrong. ….
Banana pancakes seemed like a good idea that morning, but Nikolai had other ideas! Paddling over to Bingin for a surf, he decided on something far less tasty, a little Balinese delicacy … called CORAL. A tasty dish, but one I’m sure he had wished he’d never tried. Ha ha
However, it seems that wasn’t enough for Nikolai, as later that day he hopped on the back of Riaans bike for a quick cruise to check out the surf, when disaster struck again. It seems a brown cow just magically appeared out of nowhere and was conveniently placed directly in their path. So after Riaan’s Valentino Rossi maneuver failed miserably, the bike, Nikolai and Riaan went skidding and finally came to rest 10m down the road…but hey, at least the cow was ok!
We had two men down with serious injuries and the boat trip only days away now. What were we to do?
