Yip it is raining again but tonight it is onshore. I woke up at 6:35am about 10min after Mettie had left for his dawn patrol. I checked it first from the roof top and decided it was worth kicking the Florida trio out of bed.
Matt told me later that they thought I was the landlady, come to bust them for scamming to not pay for airconditioning. But it was only me shouting at them, "Get out there!!! It's epic." and only after the second door bashing did they wake up.
Shooting from land while 2 water photogs were scoring, made me bummed. Ok, so what, ain't no benefit in getting bummed. I shot 4 rolls and got some sick shots with my, 300 f1.4 and 1.4x converter to make my setup 500mm which is pretty much perfect. Got sick piccs of Mettie, David Habbard and Mike Murphy, and others.
Tommorow is smaller but still 4-6ft epic, then Wednesday is going massive 15ft+, o..yeaaa!
My leg is feeling alot better and hope to get many more great shots the next couple days.
