What's up guys????

Well, myself and Mark Clark and a few Ozzie boyz just got back from Lanzerote (Canary Islands) and I have to say I'm impressed with how the place went down! We were there for two weeks and scored the first winter swell of their season with no crowds! El Quemao was where we spent most of our time in the water although we did do some venturing down south and scored a secret spot to ourselves(myself and Mark) that was pretty fun.

El Quemao, has a definate world class stamp on it and I will admit, there were some very sketchy ones that came through, as the reef gets really shallow on the low tide! Out of the two weeks, I think we had two days that were flat, the rest was tight as! I think next year is gonna get really crowded cause alot of people are finding out how good it gets and the locals are not going to like it one bit. We didn't have any hassles with them cause on the big days they weren't even charging, but there are one or two guys that rip it up!

I have to say it's a definate must stop, on your search for waves!

Maybe I'll see some of you guys soon!

Cheers for the submission Ivan!!! Don't think you could've scored it any better!!! Makes me regret cancelling my New Year's surf trip plans to the Canaries for a boarding trip to Austria ... sorry 4 me!!! Powder days were decent but that beats early season powder days anytime!!!

Good to hear the locals were relaxed ... some guys were having trouble with them when I was there a few years back.
