Well back it’s great to be back in the land of the burrito and salsa music … Ahyayayayayayay …….. I love Mexico even though the last time I was here I got robbed and oo ja I just got robbed the other day they took Ian Metcalf and Wayne “Shaggy” Gardener's boards, Ian’s fins, Shaggy’s two pairs of slops and my trunks…… Well even through all of that I still love it.

A typical day in the SA house (on the hill in front of Puerto Escondido’s heavy Zigatela beach break) goes down as follows:

1. Wake to the alarm of Ian’s half charged cell phone, wake up Shaggy, who sleeps in the same double bed as me (yes he tries to spoon me and he is a big guy its scary). Then I attack Ian the sleeping bear to get him up.

2. A quick lube up with sun tan lotion as we get a bit to eat and we are on our way down the hill to main beach break. On the walk down the boys share the war stories from the night before and within minutes we are there.

3. We surf for a few hours before it gets to hot to be in the sun. The waves absolutely pump here. If you like big heaving A frames down the beach this is the spot for you.

4. To pass the day before we can surf again in the arvo, we hit up the local hotels pools for good times with all the ozzies and ladies. Internet in our nice air-conditioned room is a great escape from the heat too.

5. After hours of relaxing and pool tournaments (breath holding contest, pool volleyball and other antics) we check the surf and hit the arvo session. After our 20th spitting barrel we call it a day and head back to our palace on the hill.

6. At home we make up a thick chow and the Shaggy and Ian get ready to hit the nightlife to try flag down some beautiful ladies. At around 9pm I bid the boys good night, read the Bible, do some stretching and head off to bed.

That is Mexico in a nutshell - stay tuned for more Mexico Action.
