Pink WAS the new black, the coiled arm leash had yet to be invented, handles/straps were thankfully dying out and contest vests were exactly that - "vests".
Thanks to Len from Reef for submitting this shot which he got off Bobby Rossouw.
Anyone recognise who these guys are and take a stab at what year this was? Clue - two of these guys were 2006 SA Champions.

| Ahhhh, CLASSIC!! What a treasured shot! If it wasn't for the pink boards, I would have guessed 70's, but then wetsuits are not quite as bright, hey!?!? Interersting how pink boards have come full circle as of last year--being in vogue here---still waitng on the colorfull wetsuits to make a comeback! Hahahah!! | |
