3564 | 08 Nov 2004 | clive christopherson | edinburgh | United Kingdom | "- we've watched the pipe contest from our chilly shores (on video)" Whats going on? - the global community has pumped millions of dollars into bodyboarding and not even a snitch can be put back into the contests! Sort out the political and corporate bureaucracy - give the global bodyboarding community something to keep 'em inspired - remember if its a monetary issue, potentially millions of dollars revenue from tourism to merchandise come from promotion of this sport. |

3562 | 08 Nov 2004 | Josh Christopherson | edinburgh | United Kingdom | We've watched the pipe contest from our chilly shores for years - its been a source of inspiration for thousands of people all over the world not only the pros and people in recognised surfing nations. If the pipe contest doesn't happen the world'll let out a louder gasp of disbeleif and horror than the election of George W Bush. Don't let us go through any more turmoil, don't let it happen! |
3561 | 08 Nov 2004 | chris savala | huntington beach | United States | i think that this contest should not be denied and should keep on going i have been involved in it for 2 years and i think it would be a big down fall for our sport its not fair that surfers get more priority than us we have the same respect when it comes to charging pipe and the sport so please dont denie our permit we deserve it just as any one eles does |

3553 | 07 Nov 2004 | Ashur Roberts | Port Macquarie | Australia | The City & County of Honolulu obviously have no idea whatsoever what sort of impact their decision has on the whole global bodyboarding community. It is time for them to become educated and realise that this is a major issue that will affect thousands of bodyboarders (not just from Hawaii) but worldwide. For the sake of bodyboarding, I ask them to please reconsider their decision. |

3549 | 07 Nov 2004 | Jason Doyle | Melbourne | United States | The sport of bodyboarding was created on the North Shore , above all Pipe, where the sport was incepted. Since then it has progressed and then dominated ALL big wave venues, including Pipe. LET THE ONLY WATER CRAFT and men in the world who can air 20 feet over Pipe tubes have THE contest.
GIVE THOSE WHO DO IT BEST THE BREAK THEY DESERVE. |
