BOLAND GIVES BACK PROJECT 2012
The Boland Gives Back Project, started by Karen Lombard from Boland, raised an enormous amount of clothes."There are so many areas where we surf and enjoy the nature, see and beautiful white beaches without thinking how the communities survive there and how they make ends meet.
A lot of these communities are very poor and live from day to day without knowing where their next plate of food or piece of clothing will come from, Karen says".
To everyone who contributed to the project, we thank you from the bottom of our hearts. Two bakkie loads of clothes and shoes were dropped off at Billa and Bertina Engelbrechts' from Son Surf for distribution in Lambertsbay.

"Dear Karen, Frans and all who contributed from Boland Body boarding!
A Huge Big THANK YOU for organising and bringing all the clothes too our needy children in Lamberts bay!! We appreciate it so much, especially with the approaching winter, so a heart felt thank you again! Here follow a few photos of the kiddies! We are going to give the bigger size clothing to our local soup kitchen later this month!
