No Standing helps WPBA go Green

posted by Ian Kruger on 16th February 2011

No Standing Recycling (www.nostanding.co.za) in conjunction with Western Province Bodyboarding Association (WPBA) are spearheading a greening effort to create awareness of the commodity we value most in this world - our Ocean.

This initiative has involved rising South African bodyboarding superstar, Jared Houston, and is aimed to create awareness of the damage we are doing to the environment around us and that together we can all make a difference.

In 2011 WPBA is aiming to keep all it's events as litter free as possible by offering recycling services at it's events with the help of No Standing.

Watch the clip, be inspired, and make sure you clean up after yourself the next time you go to the beach, even if it's not your litter.

Inspirational video clip there - well done to everyone involved in the production. And pretty stoked to see the mindset changing from "too cool to pick up litter" - it's our oceans and beaches and they are in danger. Would love to see this at all Bodyboard events in SA.
