SA Champs 2010 - Kids meet Pro's on Day 6

Kid's meet the Pro's in a Sixty40 signing session after another successful development clinic at SUN COAST Beach on Day 6 of the 2010 South African Championships.
Friday can go down in the books as an early 'Durban Summer Day', the sun was out and temperatures were around 30 degrees, while the ocean was a lot cooler in lower 20's. These conditions made the SUN COAST Beach the ultimate destination for anyone in Durban this Friday. As beach goers flocked to enjoy the weather, the 2010 South African Bodyboarding Championships moved forward with the final day of the competition.
Breaking away from the event, children from Vukukhanyi joined competitors to enter the water as part of the 2nd Bodyboarding development clinic to be held at SUN COAST Beach this week. The kids were ecstatic as they were first shown the stretches that are essential in ensuring the flexibility needed to Bodyboard without causing injury. And after a few more helpful tips they were then assisted into the water by the experts. This being the second clinic that the children have attended, they seemed a lot more confident as they entered the water and were pushed onto waves.
After they had caught a few waves it was time for lunch courtesy of SUN COAST and then the children of Vukukhanyi got a chance to meet the Pros. Jared Houston, Jake Rosenburg, Jarret Johnson and Donovan Basset were all on hand to sign the newest edition of the Sixty40 Bodyboarding magazine.
It was yet another successful Development Clinic and the South African Bodyboarding fraternity looks forward to sustaining the relationships developed and ensuring that the kids have more chances to be more involved in Bodyboarding and possibly even be able to compete in future events.
