Boland Bodyboarding Association look to build on 2009

Boland Bodyboarding Association (BBA), have a tough act to follow after a very succesful 2009 but I am confident that 2010 is going to be an even bigger year for us. A brand new, young and energetic committee is building on top of a very successful 2009. Vicus Kruger, will be leading the committee and is seen as one of the most innovative in terms of building new business ideas and implementing them. Justing Hoeben will be assisting Vikus on the committee and Blanche Hoeben will act as treasurer. Frans Lombard and Werner Adendorff looks after the media and advertisement. Media coverage is very important for BBA and has helped BBA grown in leaps and bounds over the last 18 months and will continue in doing so.
During 2009 BBA, together with Kumba Iron Ore, Reef SA and Science Bodyboards, delivered a very successful development program worth R80 000. Several development clinics were held which resulted in 40 kids being handed new bodyboarding kit in Lamberts Bay. This was a very successful program and BBA is planning to do this again in 2010.
Reef SA have once again committed themselves as a major sponsor for BBA. Reef is seen as a major player in manufacturing and distributing bodyboarding kit and BBA is proud to be associated with such a professional and ambitious business who take pride in what they do for the sport. BBA will always embrace the Reef SA products as far as possible.
The 2009 SA champs were hosted by BBA in Lamberts Bay and are seen as probably the most successful event ever held. Major sponsors like Reef SA, Coke, Bon Aqua and Powerade helped to make this event a success. It is always nice to get these big names on board and nice to know they believe in BBA as a partner.

The BBA is looking forward to a bumper year with maybe one or two new events which will be well accepted by the booger community.
BBA is looking forward to see you at the next trial and welcomes anyone who would like to join the world of competitive bodyboarding. Together, we will grow the sport.
