The Bodyboarding Academy - Grommet Challenge 2009

The Bodyboarding academy will be holding its first ever Grommet challenge in February 2009 sponsored by Reef, Science and Sport Unlimited.
The competition is aimed at first time competition riders who would like to gain contest experience or better themselves in contest riding.
The contest will be held on Saturday the 7th of February at 9:00 am. However if conditions are not suitable it will be postponed to Sunday the 8th of February at 9:00am. The Grommet challenge will be held at Clovelly wedge, Fishhoek or alternatively Long beach or Noordhoek depending on the conditions.
At 7:30 am on the morning of the competition it is the riders' responsibility to phone and find out if and where the competition will be held. However we will have a voice message on the Saturday the 7th letting you know where the competition will be held. Johnny 0724131626
Entry Fee: R120 per division
Divisions: U/10, U/12, U/14 and *Open U/16
* The open division is for individuals that are U/16. The open division is also for U/10, U/12 and U/14 riders who have been body boarding for longer and feel they can compete with the older riders. An Additional R50 must be paid with the entry if the rider decides to compete in the open division. Please go to the indemnity form to enter.
