posted on 13th May 2008

300More bodyboarding action is set for the IMAX screen at The Gateway Theatre of Shopping in Durban on Saturday 31st May. Following the success of the Pull the Plug 2 premiere at the IMAX in March, Nomad Bodyboards South Africa are inviting bodyboarders once again to enjoy a night of explosive bodyboarding on the big screen with the South African premiere of ROAM.

"ROAM is the most hyped bodyboard film to leave Australian shores this past year. With a great crew behind this production and a cast of bodyboarders in the water pushing the limits in exceptional surf we believe that ROAM is one of this year's must see productions. We hope to share this film with as many people as possible and invite you, bodyboarders and non-boarders, young and old, to come join us at the IMAX for something special", commented Derek Footit of Nomad Bodyboards South Africa.

Hey the sound track's sick, Alternative Rock, Punk Rock and a little old school. Music from the likes of :
Interpol
Daft Punk
Deftones
White Stripes
The Editors
Yeah Yeah Yeahs
Faker
Rolling Stones and many more that you may or may not have heard before. They have gone out of their way to make this sound track right for the sections and pace of the bodyboarding! Of course it helps to have an editing guru!

The soundtrack is quite 80's/90's electro-but it suits the movie SO well. There is a bit of Deftones comming into it as well. It is a smoking DVD, I received my copy last week from the UK and I cannot stop watching it. The Aussies are ripping everyhting apart!
