One of the best performances of the day came from Portugals Rui Ferreria when he totally dominated his second round heat “I was really happy just to be surfing. I had to work for a week and now I feel fresh. Lets see if I can do it again in the next round and next week when I go to Sintra”

The waves are rolling into the beach at 3-4 feet (1-1.5 mtrs) and the swell is expected to be a clean 3 feet in the morning and slowly drop over the following three days.
