WP Prizegiving and Team announcement

On the evening of Tuesday 8 August, bodyboarders from throught the Western Cape gathered at the Seafood Lapa in Melkbos for the prizegiving of the 3rd and 4th WP Trials ... but more importantly, to hear the announcement of the WP Team for 2006.
There was an awesome vibe between the riders as they cheered for each other during the evening. SPORT 'n SURF once again came up with some generous prize vouchers for the trial finalists with R500 going to Sacha Specker, the pro finalist.
Finally the time had come, to hear the team for two thousand and six...anxiety and anticipation filled the hearts of all the riders as chairman Angus Houston made the announcement ... which I won't mention except to say that a fantastic team was chosen to represent Western Province at SA's this year! It is probably the strongest team WP has ever had - so this is a shout out to all the other provinces, warning them that WP is coming through with full force this year!!!
