Info on WP Trial No 2

Hey everyone.. heres abit of a rundown on some of the developments that have been made concerning the W.P. Trials.
Depending on the number of entries, we will either hold all the heats on SUNDAYS, or if entries increase, we will run some divisions on the SATURDAY AFTERNOON. You will be notified about this on the Friday night prior or Saturday morning early.
We have decided to send out the heat schedule before the trials begin, so that we can minimize the situation which finds everybody screaming from one corner of the peninsula to the other in order to get to the designated beach by start of the first heat, only to find they are riding in 4 hours time (for e.g.). In future, JUNIORS will be riding FIRST, and a predicted morning and afternoon schedule will be sms’s to all entrants.
We will be holding two prizegivings as we did last year – one after Trials 1 and 2 and the second after Trials 3 and 4. We have prizes sponsored once again from our legendary and faithful sponsor, SPORT “N SURF – who have sponsored WP Trials for the past
Five years. The first prizegiving will be held on Thursday evening 15 June – we will inform you of the venue once it has been confirmed. Second date is yet to be finalized.
Regarding the confirmation – Sacha, as contest director, would still like everyone to confirm your entry by the THURSDAY before each trial - even if you have paid up front.
