Only a few days until the Kumba West Coast Classic 2015 kick off

posted by Simon Heale on 30th March 2015

There are just 4 days to go until the Kumba West Coast Classic 2015 begins, entries close tomorrow and riders from all over the country are down in Cape Town and ready to win.

The West Coast is blessed with an abundance of perfect waves, every type you could think of and wish to ride. The Lamberts bay stretch is no exception with perfect right hand reef breaks such as Farmer Burgers and Bones, to heavy beach break waves like Famous Last Words and A-Frame reefs like Yo-Yo's. Each wave offers the riders unique opportunity to showcase their skills and perform spectacular moves for the large crowds watching on the beach. The Tow-Out event, which is held at Yo-Yo's in Lamberts Bay, is always a huge crowd pleaser with the riders getting towed behind a Jetski towards the waves at high speed, with the aim to get as high as they possible can.

The contest briefing will be held at the Eureka Hotel at 18:30 on Thursday evening the 2nd April.

If you still haven't entered head on over to www.bolandbodyboarding.co.za for the entry form and be sure to not miss out on any of the action this year.

See you there.
