Guilherme Tamega has won his 6th G.O.B World Title, after taking out the Global Organisation of Bodyboarders (G.O.B) 2002 World Super Tour (W.S.T). Tamega was presented with a solid gold World Super Tour ring. "We are definitely going the right direction. The World Super Tour has been a huge success. Everyone has been so supportive, it's been so great." expressed Tamega. "We have Tahiti for a first event this year, I can not believe that a W.S.T event will be returning to Teahupoo, bring it on".

Andrew Lester, from Cronulla N.S.W, Australia who once again came second to Tamega, show true sports man traits by congratulating Tamega straight after the presentation. Taking it all in his stride, Lester is already looking forward to the 2003 WST. "We have Tahiti, Shark Island, Brazil and the Philippines. Looks like a great year ahead for Bodyboarding. I can't wait, it's going to be sick".
