The pipe comp is the most prestigious event in the WST, as if they cancel it out this year i think its gonna be very hurtful to all the community of bodyboarding. Its all respect and as far as im concerned we have earn't that a long time ago, so i say that there will be a permanent spot for the WST at Pipe this year whether they like it or not! |

| 628 | 25 Oct 2004 | Trace Kalei | Hilo | United States | The Pipeline Event equates to the Olympics for Bodyboarding. The Professionals aren't the only people who are looking forward to the Pipeline Event. Many bodyboarders and fans look forward to this event, to see their favorites compete at the highest level. Taking this event away would devestate the bodyboarding community. Why should bodyboarders even compete if there is no 1st place. Pipeline is the place where bodyboarders and surfers go to prove themselves to the world. Please don't rob everyone of that honor. |

| 622 | 25 Oct 2004 | james peterson | gold coast | Australia | i think that we should have the pipe comp so we should write on the bottom of our boards ' save the ppe comp' then the mayour and the public can see it and especially you guys who have the pull to get in mags and stuff. save the pipe comp |
