We can't forget that the bodyboard as it is today was developed by hawaiians (Mike Stewart, Tom Morey and co.), so Hawaii can't turn its back to one of it's offspring, to the contrary, it must help to evolve the sport even more. The Pipe contest has become a tradition, and it would be a sin to break it now.

Every year we wait for our time to shine at pipe, we wait for bodyboarding to be the spotlight of the world, and we wait to get the opportunity to surf pipe with no crowd. As we all know, many surf contests are held at this site year after year and to deny bodyboarders a permit is discrimination. It shows where the politicians' decisions come from, THEIR POCKETS!
