Tristan Roberts takes Junior and Pro titles at the REEF SA Boland Champs.

A Windy Caves hosted 60 contestants for the REEF SA Boland Champs. Conditions were difficult in the 3-4 foot swell and riders had to work hard during their heats to get good scores. It was a well organised event and riders from all over South Africa attended.
Tristan Roberts put on display of perfection by absolutely ripping Caves apart. TR is still an under 15 rider but competed in the under 18 and Pros' divisions. TR has earned himself a special place in the history books of the Boland Champs by winning both the Junior and Pro titles.
Conditions were difficult for the dropknee riders but it was Aden Kleve pulling the best moves to earn him the DK title.
The Junior final looked more like a Pro final the way these guys put it all on the line to take top spot, but TR took the top spot with his clean air roll spins wave after wave.
The Masters division had some fierce competition but Boland's Melvin Victor came out tops and therefore becoming the new Masters champ.
A big thank you to all the family and friends who came from far to support their riders.
