Yes I am still alive and since I last wrote, I've travelled through 3 countries, had a few nights out, been inside many barrels and consumed vast amounts of coffee.
I am writing to you from Cronulla, Sydney where I have been since Sunday, patiently awaiting THE day of the Fluidzone Shark Island Challenge 2010. I am one of 14 lucky invitees, including the 2 hard working trialists Daniel Worsley and Sammy Strachan.
It's a pretty big thing this comp with a new knockout format, great lineup and the heaviest regularly surfed wave in the world things should get hectic to say the least! Especially so when I face up against Dave Winchester, Damian King and Jason Finlay in qaurter final 2 of the event. All the heats are stacked to the brim, and if you don't watch this event live then quite frankly you're absolutely blowing it! Some other names to watch out for include Shaun Pyne and Ben Player!
I have been taking a fair few photos and will upload them in the next few days.
In the mean time enjoy the 2 clips Turbo has kindly presented and keep loving life! I can honestly say I am!
